Seal Of Approval – First Step Community Nursery

We were delighted to have received some lovely thank you gifts from the children at First Step Community Nursery in Udston near Hamilton.
The team here at Ttag Brickwork and Scaffolding have recently completed work for the regeneration of First Step Community Nursery as part of South Lanarkshire Council’s Primary Schools Modernisation Programme, which launched in 2006 aiming to renew all council nurseries and primary schools in the area.
For us this nursery rebuild was both a brickwork and scaffolding project led by our Commercial Director, Sandy Peters. Sandy and the team worked to build an 800 square metre building which is a single-storey timber-frame encompassing spaces for playrooms, sensory areas and other facilities for the pre-school children.
We are very proud of the buildings we handed over to First Step Community Nursery, which we completed to schedule. We pride ourselves on always delivering high quality scaffolding and brickwork, maintaining our known reputation for creating safe environments.
Our work definitely got the seal of approval from our clients as we received a handmade thank you card from the children filled with lovely messages, as well as a photo in a frame and Easter egg for us all to share.
We hope the children and staff at First Step Community Nursery enjoy their new space, we have the photo frame pride of place in our office! The Easter egg on the other hand is long gone…
