Bowling For Heroes
December 22, 2016Charity
This month the team at Ttag – Brickwork & Scaffolding (known for our dual services) were temporarily divided as the Scaffolding team took on the Brickwork team in some friendly competition all for a good cause.
The teams took part in the Faslane Ten-Pin Bowling event hosted by Morgan Sindall. The event was created to raise money for the charity Help for Heroes. Help for Heroes is a charity with a great cause, founded in 2007 it was created to provide better facilities for British servicemen and woman who have been injured in the line of duty. This fantastic charity has the backing of the Ministry of Defence, ABF The Soldiers Charity, The Sun, The Sunday Times and of course all of us here at Ttag.
The event was attended by all the trades working on the Neptune Project, which is a project for the MOD to create 18 modern accommodation blocks including a leisure facility for all ranks working at the Faslane Naval Base, Helensburgh.

Our brickwork team came out victorious in the main event and earned the bragging rights in the office this Christmas. However, there was a rematch later in the night where the Scaffolding team did get their revenge. The real winner from the event however was of course Help for Heroes as a grand total of £2,470 was raised from the evening which will go directly to the charity.
Morgan Sindall put on a great event with the £2,470 raised going to such a great charity in ‘Help For Heroes’!
